Stop losing money between the timer and the invoice
Most freelancers juggle a timer app, a spreadsheet, an invoice template and guesswork at tax time. Clockmint keeps them in one place, so every hour you work ends up on an invoice.
Track
Start a timer from your iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac, widgets or Siri, and see what the session is worth as it runs.
Invoice
Turn tracked time into branded PDF invoices in seconds, with VAT, discounts and reminders for late payers.
Plan
See which work pays best, keep projects on budget, log expenses and know what to set aside for tax.
What's new
The latest version takes Clockmint beyond the UK and lets you bill fairly when you're on more than one job at a time.
Multitasking timers
Run extra timers alongside the main one. While projects overlap, each is billed at a share of its rate: 75% each for two, 50% for three, or whatever you set.
Four more tax countries
Germany, France, Spain and Poland join the UK, each with its own tax estimate, VAT rate, deadlines and the invoice wording the law asks for.
Five languages
Use Clockmint in English, Polish, German, Spanish or French. Your language and your tax country are separate, so a Polish speaker in the UK still gets UK tax.
A timer wherever you work
Clockmint puts the timer where you already are, and keeps every device in step.
- Live earnings as the timer runs
- Multitasking: time several projects at once at a reduced rate
- Home and Lock Screen widgets, Live Activities and the Dynamic Island
- An Apple Watch app with complications
- Siri, Shortcuts and a Control Center toggle
- Calendar suggestions and a Pomodoro focus mode
- Alerts when you forget to stop
- Starts itself from a Focus, an NFC tag or arriving at a place
- Bring your history from Toggl Track, Clockify, Harvest or any CSV
Hours into invoices, in seconds
Pick a client, choose the time, and send a branded PDF with your logo and bank details.
- Rates are locked when you invoice, so totals never change
- Standard, zero-rated and reverse-charge VAT, with each country's wording
- Bill in another currency and record what arrived in your account
- Quotes that become projects or invoices when the client says yes
- Part payments, deposits, and credit notes to cancel an invoice properly
- A pay-online link and QR code for Stripe, PayPal, Monzo and more
- Overdue reminders, late payment interest and client statements
- Fixed-price projects, retainers, rechargeable expenses and signed timesheets
Know your numbers as you go
See where the money comes from, and what to keep back before the tax bill arrives.
- Charts of hours and earnings, with your effective hourly rate by project
- Hours and money budgets with alerts at 80% and 100%
- Receipts read for the total, VAT, date and supplier
- Drives detected automatically for mileage claims
- A tax estimate for the country you pay tax in
- Deadline reminders and VAT threshold tracking
- A cash-flow forecast and what each client really pays per hour
- A year-end pack for your accountant
A proper Mac app, not a big phone app
Clockmint sits in your menu bar while you work and notices the things you'd forget to log.
- A menu bar timer with live earnings
- Idle detection, so a coffee break doesn't end up on an invoice
- Suggested time from the apps you had in front
- Desktop widgets for your projects and today's total
Built for how you're actually taxed
Choose your tax country and Clockmint sets the currency, VAT rate, tax year and deadlines, then estimates what to set aside.
